Something Else Happened.

I found me and became only4thebrave.

There comes a point where you push fear aside as you discover your true self; you begin tuning out external voices, focusing solely on your inner voice. This journey of self-discovery is both empowering and liberating, allowing you to embrace your authentic identity and live life on your own terms with unwavering confidence.

I had played with a few different names but nothing stuck like ‘only4thebrave.’

Only4thebrave was like mixing all my elements together, blending the good and bad aspects of my personality, combining my diverse interests, creativity, rich background, and unique heritage into a captivating and empowering experience.

Let’s start with home.

I started taking photographs as a child, but I didn’t get to keep anything from my childhood. What I did keep from my childhood, was my sense of adventure and taking risks.

I started exploring nakedness, outdoors, in hotels in derelict buildings. I was becoming brave, and better serving the name I had given myself. Working with others in the space sets off all kinds of new challenges, when I’m so used to doing things in my own time.

Models pushed.

Models sought something more; a desire to stand out from the crowd burning within them, a longing to break free from the ordinary. They entrusted me with the mission to redefine their uniqueness and make their distinctiveness shine even brighter.

I have had the opportunity to collaborate with a diverse selection of models, playing a key role in launching numerous promising careers within the industry.

Challenges Overcome.

Working in various locations can present a multitude of challenges that are not typically encountered when working in a controlled studio environment. The unpredictability of different settings, such as ever-changing lighting conditions and unfamiliar surroundings, often requires quick thinking, adaptability, and resourcefulness to overcome obstacles and achieve the desired results efficiently and effectively.

When collaborating with another individual, it is essential to intricately blend a myriad of elements together seamlessly to achieve a harmonious outcome. Working in tandem necessitates the skilful fusion of ideas, perspectives, and efforts to create a cohesive and unified result in a new space.

Working with models earned me publication credits all over the world and exhibits followed. This slowly eroded my creativity as I started to create work for an audience and not for myself.

Being celebrated by others, defiantly boosts, the ego, but can leave you feeling lost as you’re no longer the thing of interest. Which in turned to lows and then to fatigue.

I think in that moment you decide to be well paid shooting boring shit, or broke artist till death. I live in hope that I can have a mix and pick and choose the boring projects if they pay enough.

I started to become more daring, challenging myself, pushing the risk and level of excitement. I pushed my creativity, I played a little more with colour. Time, light and shade also became a factor, and with the help of others, my Stories came back to life.

I think this is truly just the beginning of this exciting exploration, filled with endless possibilities and discoveries yet to come.

I have several bigger projects planned for the near future, including a creative series that thoughtfully examines the concepts of body, beauty, and self-perception in our diverse environment, while focusing on the emotional complexities and intricacies involved in these themes.

I want to expand on my creative projects by incorporating a variety of unique locations, as well as distinctive costumes that truly reflect the theme of the shoot. Additionally, I am interested in integrating special effects makeup to enhance the overall visual impact and storytelling aspect of each session. This combination will surely elevate my work and provide a more engaging experience for everyone involved.
