Me, Myself and I.
Some people wear different masks but I’m not afraid of who I am, I’m complicated, and that’s cool. I also understand each of these different parts of me can be explored in different ways and help others along the way. I guess seeing some of the things I’m interested in might give you a clearer picture of the person that I am and how you might be inspired to try something new.

British photographer Marcus Johnson Aka only4thebrave, is a rare talent. With work exhibited and published all over the world his work is a mix of erotic and creative influences.
Self-taught he went to college, and experienced his first exhibition and publication before attending university where he specialised in darkroom practices, documentary photography and the constructed image.
He took a short break from photography to pursue a career in research, focusing on gang culture, behaviour and outreach mentoring. He recently decided to pursue his creative career.
He creates stories with the models and couples that invite you into his world of intimacy while documenting the mood like a fly on the wall, resulting in elegant and sophisticated creative photography with a timeless quality and the perfection of imperfection.
Renowned for being easy to work with, Marcus ensures a comfortable, friendly but always professional atmosphere for every shoot.
Only4thebrave was the result of me wanting to escape my day, which had become rules and red tape, there was no freedom of expression or thinking and everything had to be done the same way. I had always loved photography as it had changed my stars and opened doors so I guess I knew it could do the same again if I was brave enough to take the risk. Only4thebrave was born out of I want to be brave enough to express myself as I once did. In a raw and unfiltered way.
First it was documented lingerie, clothing, then I explored nude and erotic before landing in kink. Now my work is a mix of my styles while I create something stunning so your minds can wonder.
My photographs are described as sensual and erotic, using an alienating and sometimes even raw style. Whether they are portraits, nudes, landscapes or narrated images. My inspiration comes from the likes of Weegee, Nan Goldin and Helmut Newtown so I always want my work to make you want to explore it a little more. I start all work with an idea, then try to match that idea to a person, this isn’t always the case I can start with a plan and it go left, then it’s all about skill, improvisation and intuition. I choose a model and a location and, depending on the weather, mood of the day, model-interaction and the settings, the images are born. I like to work with others, exploring perception and how others see. I spend time looking and watching all kinds of things, people. This aids in the work that I create and how it’s created.
If you work with me on any project, I’m chatty, I ask questions and chilled so you’ll get to know me. I guess that how I help you find your brave side.

Fear is an emotional response to perceived threats or dangers, typically characterised by feelings of anxiety, apprehension, or panic. It triggers physiological reactions in the body, such as an increased heart rate and heightened alertness, which are part of the "fight or flight" response.

Sometimes, one must cast aside all inhibitions and let their spirit soar. This is the essence of my persona and project, -FEaR- being my pseudonym. Within a holistic therapy environment, I aspire to cultivate a sanctuary where individuals can heal, learn, and flourish. Embracing vulnerability, I seek to create a space where the human spirit can be set free, untethered by the shackles of fear, and nurtured in its pursuit of growth and self-discovery.

For many years, I have dedicated myself to researching and supporting communities often overlooked by the very services meant to assist them. Through this journey, I recognised the urgent need for positive, unbiased support delivered through straightforward services. Drawing on my extensive knowledge and skills, I created a mentoring service designed for individuals who might feel a bit different. My mission is to provide the guidance and encouragement they need to thrive.

This wasn’t the plan.
I sort of fell into to this, in my quest to prefect my craft. In doing so I created a new path, one that involves a more tactile approach, a more straightforward connection, and a deeper level of engagement.
The thing about me is that I’m not always patient when it comes to photography and waiting for someone else to help me isn’t a big strength either so I embraced the basics of ropework and, through this self-reliance, discovered a burgeoning passion.
Working as the persona -FEAR- I could practice my new craft without always bringing my camera, or rather taking photos isn’t the main focus.
Building relationships with a variety of people exposed me to diverse experiences. It's through these experiences that I can encounter unique perspectives, learn new concepts, and engage in different activities. Each person I meet offered me a distinct slice of life, enriching our own understanding of the world. with a background in mentoring and research I found myself supporting and talking with people about better ways to address feelings and explore traumas in a safe way.
Using my knowledge in a different way allows me to get closer to both my favourite things creating art and helping others. I’m at the start of my journey and already have much interest from others on how this will develop and the areas we can explore.

I love working alone; there's something liberating about doing what you want, when you want. However, I also understand the importance of tribal thinking. As an artist and researcher, I can fit into most places, and everyone wants me to be a part of their community, which is cool. But I've never seen myself fitting into a box until now—and when I say box, I mean a loosely fitting one.
In today's interconnected world, the power of collective effort is undeniable. Working together as a team to educate and create not only enhances individual strengths but also fosters a sense of community and shared purpose. When diverse minds unite, they bring unique perspectives and ideas, leading to innovative solutions and enriched learning experiences. Collaboration encourages mutual support, accountability, and the pooling of resources, making it possible to achieve goals that might be unattainable alone. My plan is to bring together some of these fascinating individuals—some will be with us throughout the journey, others might join for a time then be out, and some will be guests. The aim remains the same: to educate and inform you, sharing the best practices, venues, and equipment.
we want to build a more inclusive, dynamic, and effective environment where everyone has the opportunity to thrive and contribute meaningfully.
