in motion
This is where the eye came from. Jamaican heritage — the land, the light, the bodies that came before mine, the rooms they made for themselves in a place that did not always make room for them. The work in the other rooms of this site treats the body as form and the land as form. The reason the eye sees both as form is here: from the country where people and land are one, the hills and valleys meet the sky. The full series is the public series. There is no implication here. What you see on this page is where the rest of the work learned how to look.
