It started with a Gentle push.

Being Dominate in a subby kind of world can sneak up on you like a ninja in fluffy slippers; one minute you're just minding your own business, the next you're tying someone up and pouring wax on them as part of fantasy. It's funny how life throws us these curveballs, isn't it? You start off thinking you'll just dip your toes into the fantastical waters, and before you know it, you're the captain of the SS Imagination, sailing towards the horizon of creativity.

I guess I was always poised for this line of creativity, I’m fearless, unless you’re a moth, I’m creative without many boundaries and I’ve seen a lot of crazy shit. So if someone said can you wrap me in barbed wire, “I was like no problem.”, How about tying me up and hitting me with any object you find. “I’m sure I can make that work.”

The dynamics of power can be quite fascinating. On one hand, having power gives me the ability to influence outcomes and make decisions that can be surprising, enlighting or sharp. It's often associated with status, control, and the capacity to enact change. The relinquishment of power can be a paradoxical concept, but it often stems from the desire for greater personal autonomy and self-determination. People may choose to give up power to avoid the stress and responsibility that comes with it, seeking a simpler, more peaceful life. Others might find that sharing power or declining to wield it over others can lead to more cooperative relationships and a more harmonious community. Ultimately, giving up power can be a way to gain different forms of influence and respect, fostering an environment where collaboration and collective success are valued over individual authority.

Ultimately, the desire to either hold or give up power may stem from one's personal values, experiences, and the context in which they find themselves. Whether it's the allure of making an impact or the freedom from the weight of authority, the relationship with power is a personal journey for everyone.

Like I Said my background, had me well placed for this role, and even though it took me some time to get comfortable in the space, I was always ready to take charge.
